    I have almost bricked my touch in the past, failed jailbreaking my iPhone 4 and i have never messed them up for good

    reguarding the touch: i pulled it from a NAND restore and i got it going again, it was a sight to behold

    iPhone wise: i have messed up getiing into DFU mode properly and the thing made it

    People even ask me to jailbreak for them

    jailbreak is adding software and code to do whatever you want to the iDevice

    recovery is fixing a failed jailbreak if you can't simply restore it lie it is new
